Movie Storyline

Plot The movie is separated into four parts, each chapter circling back to one main event that sets off a chain reaction. Beginning with "A Dark Spirit," an  armoured truck  is robbed by heavily armed individuals dressed as construction workers. Two guards and a civilian are killed during the robbery. Five months after the robbery, a mysterious Patrick Hill applies to Fortico Security, an armoured truck company. In his interview, his soon-to-be superior, Terry, commends him for his references and warns him of the robbery. Hill is then introduced to Bullet, who nicknames him "H" and oversees his training and qualifying tests. "H" barely manages to pass the tests and gets off to a rocky start with his new colleagues, particularly "Boy Sweat" Dave. Plot Over a year before the first film's events, the Abbott family attends son Marcus' baseball game. Mid-game, bewildered spectators look skyward as a flaming object hurtles towards the Earth. As people exit the park and attempt to drive away, the town is beset and attacked by hostile alien creatures possessing armored skin and extraordinary speed and strength. The blind creatures have a hypersensitive hearing to target and track victims. In the present, the aliens have killed much of the Earth's population, including Lee Abbott, who sacrificed himself to save his surviving family - wife Evelyn, deaf teen daughter Regan, adolescent son Marcus, and a newborn son. Regan discovered that high-frequency audio feedback can incapacitate the creatures, devising a makeshift method of transmitting the noise from her  cochlear implant  hearing aid through a microphone and speaker, allowing Evelyn to fatally shoot the creatures when they are vulnerable. Plot Estella Miller is a creative child with a talent for fashion but has a cruel streak, leading her mother Catherine to nickname her "Cruella". Due to Estella's rebellious nature, Catherine pulls her daughter from school and plans to move to  London . On the way there, she stops at a party hosted by the wealthy Baroness von Hellman to ask for financial assistance. Estella witnesses her mother being pushed off a cliff to her death by the Baroness' ferocious  Dalmatians . Orphaned, Estella makes her way to London and befriends two street urchins named Jasper and Horace. To go unnoticed, she dyes her black-and-white hair red. Ten years later, Estella is making ends meet alongside Jasper and Horace as thieves, while honing her fashion skills by designing their disguises. For her birthday, Jasper and Horace get her a job as a cleaner at the  Liberty department store . Plot  The reunion special was originally set to be released with the launch of  HBO Max  on May 27, 2020, along with the  236 episodes  of the original series that were available at launch. On May 13, 2021, a teaser trailer was released announcing that the reunion special was scheduled to be released on May 27, 2021, on  HBO Max . The HBO Max release includes five bonus clips that were cut from the special as extras.
